New York Red Bulls and RB Leipzig complete affiche U13Cup
New York Red Bulls and RB Leipzig are the two latest names to be added to the U13Cup poster. With that, the U13Cup also gets another intercontinental topper to visit. Both teams are known for their excellent youth work and are therefore an absolute asset to the tournament.
The 26th edition of the U13Cup features clubs from as many as eight top European leagues. With the New York Red Bulls, another intercontinental topper is also on the bill.
“Our tournament is known for giving different soccer schools the opportunity to compete against each other. With the arrival of the New York Red Bulls, we have an absolute winner on that front,” said tournament director John De Pauw. “In Major League Soccer, the New York Red Bulls are known for their outstanding youth work. The fact that they are part of the great Red Bull soccer family proves that. In addition, with Dante Vanzeir and Amir Murillo of RSC Anderlecht, there is also a solid Belgian link.”
RB Leipzig also colors the poster. “With Leipzig we are once again bringing in quality. The Bundesliga is a worldwide label of quality. The fact that their first team got a ball washing yesterday from Erling Haaland and Manchester City doesn’t change anything for that for me. Leipzig is one of the upcoming names in top European soccer. Such a team belongs at our tournament.”
